This temple to Horus is incredibly well-preserved – you can almost hear the echoes of ancient rituals. Don’t miss the huge statue of Horus as a falcon, it’s truly impressive. Then it’s on to Kom Ombo, a unique double temple overlooking the Nile. One side honors Sobek, the crocodile god, while the other is dedicated to Horus the Elder.
